Elks Walk with Purpose, Serve with Heart

Elks National Foundation
The Elks National Foundation (E.N.F.) is the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. It invests in communities across the country through scholarships, veterans services, youth programs, and grants that support local Elks Lodge initiatives. Every donation helps the ENF build stronger futures and serve those who need it most.

Elks Major Project
The Purple Pig is the fundraising symbol of the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project, which provides free therapy services to children with disabilities. Through generous donations, the Elks fund licensed therapists and vision screeners who travel thousands of miles to deliver life-changing care—at no cost to families. Every coin dropped into a Purple Pig helps a child walk, talk, see, and play.

Become A Volunteer
Volunteering with the Elks means joining a proud tradition of service. Whether you’re helping veterans, supporting youth, or serving your local community, Elks volunteers make a real impact. Give your time, share your heart, and be part of something meaningful. Everyone can make a difference, start today!

Empowering futures
The Elks are committed to shaping strong futures through youth-focused programs like the Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest, Drug Awareness Education, and Student Scholarships. From building confidence on the court to promoting healthy choices and academic achievement, Elks youth initiatives inspire leadership, sportsmanship, and community values in young people across the nation.

Community partnerships
Santa Maria Elks Lodge #1538 proudly partners with schools, veterans, youth groups, the Foodbank, and local nonprofits to strengthen our community. From hosting the Elks Rodeo and supporting fundraisers to providing space for graduations, food drives, and emergency needs—we serve side by side with those who make Santa Maria stronger.

Fundraising Events
The Santa Maria Elks proudly support causes like the Golden Circle of Champions, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, and the Ronald McDonald House. From building beds for children in need to collecting can tabs for families with hospitalized children, we stand beside these incredible organizations to bring comfort, hope, and support where it’s needed most.

Elks Antlers Program
The Antlers is a youth program of the Elks that empowers young people ages 12 to 20 to grow as leaders through service, patriotism, and community involvement. Sponsored by local Elks Lodges, Antlers participate in charitable activities, assist with lodge events, honor our nation’s veterans, and build friendships with a shared spirit of giving. The program encourages responsibility, respect, and pride in helping others, shaping tomorrow’s leaders with the heart of an Elk.
